Reminder that the above is due to be posted on your groups blog this week

I have copied the content form the powerpoint in class to help you, along with the links to source material.

Mark Scheme - know what success is judged by

Hi

As 6th Form students there are lots of expectations of you that are different to lower years.

Working independently, managing your time, organising yourselves, taking responsibility for your learning, knowing your targets and your monitoring your progress - blindfold game remember?

Below you will find the mark scheme for the Coursework unit. Read this carefully, it shows you what you are being judged on.

We have only given you the Level 4 criteria - we do not expect anyone to be working at anything below a Level 4 standard. (This means A-B grade)

The Brief
Research & Planning

Research & Planning 20 marks

Construction of the Video - 60 marks

Evaluation Questions

Evaluation 20 marks

See next post for Menu of what needs to be completed for research & planning

Thanks
Mr.B

Welcome - start your blogging now

Hi

Welcome to the AS Media Blog for the Foundation Production

As we start other units we (Mr.B & Mrs.B - no relation!) will upload posts, resources and lesson content for your exam units also.

Each week there will be a roundup of the work required for the week 'Independent Tasks' (not homework as you may be working on it in college or at the cafe or on location)

The next few post will contain information on what we are doing each week/Module, your deadlines for the coursework and the assessment criteria. It is assumed that you have looked at this any questions can be brought up in class or emailed to either of us.

Please feel free to comment on any post and support each other.

The exam board expect a minimum of 4 hrs per week or self directed study, 1 and a half to 2 hours of this can be used to watch Thriller films.

This weeks Tip:
THE STUDENTS THAT GET A's ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE WATCHED LOTS OF THRILLER FILMS/TV (see below - Alex is one of my former students he worked on his own and his work got A*)

KEY TO SUCCESS = WATCH THRILLERS & GET TO KNOW THEM

Cheers

Mr.B
